Okay, so today was my weekly weigh in day ....scale did NOT move. Big Surprise there (damn turtle). This was also my once monthly measurement day. So far, since Apr I have lost 31.5 inches (total of all inches lost in chest, waist, hips, right thigh, right calf and right bicep). Most notably...10 inches of that has been from my waist and 7.5 inches from hips. Also...to Mr Yoda's dismay...6 inches from my chest! Yet, as good as I know that is, I STILL want to see my scale move!!!! Are we sick or what?!!! -
LOL you are as bad as Mr Yoda!!! No amputation yet but I would like to amputate my belly! :phanvan

Loriely: u should tell mr. Loriely to post too! We could use some testosterony input on here too! hehe -
Yeah, I admire them, that is for sure....especially the Skimpy ones posting! It is a great motivator though so I do appreciate it!!! I know my limitations and THAT I could never do!!! LOL

I'm no longer on one of my hypertension meds....I don't expect to come off the other one though....even if (I mean when!) I get to goal....I've had hypertension since my early 20s (when I was thin). So, going off one of 'em I find to be a major NSV. Also, I bought a size 18 pants the other night and they fit!!! YEEEEHA. I fell in love with another pair of jeans and bought them at size 16....course I can't do 'em up...but I will soon enough...and then they will last me longer!

the MoM is so disgusting; I tried it once and I swear....NEVER again...no matter what!! I do use Benefibre in my Protein drinks and therefore I don't taste it. However when I've tried it in Water (nothing else)...I do find it quite gritty and to me it tastes gross....but as I said ...in my Protein Drink I don't even know it is there!

That's great Angel Bear. My scale didn't move today either (my once weekly weigh in) but I did lose 4 inches (overall) since 30 days ago. So...yeah, it helps knowing that!
-
Nah, you're just not observant Cloe! LOL I was at 226 for close to 3 weeks; last Sat it went to 225 ....we'll see what it is tomorrow...not holdin' my breath!

YA!!! What Mandi said!

About the same. Nothing to be concerned about...just odd. I'm beginning to not even notice them since they are so common place now! LOL

The smell got to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Serves him right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL *ROTFLMAO* -
Also Green....if you aren't already....I HIGHLY recommend you take your measurements (once a month). That will also be a motivator...even if the numbers on the scale won't go down (or go down slowly) you will be amazed at the amount of inches you lose. I measure my chest, waist, hips, right thigh, right calf and right bicep ...once per month. I have lost a total of 26.75 inches so far. I also take photos on the day I do measurements. If you are going to do this measurement thing....start now while you are still at the beginning. If you are already doing it: yay you!
-
ummmm Mandi...keep in mind that Green meant that the weight loss is brilliant (which it is!!!)....don't get lulled into thinking that she said that YOU were brilliant!!! Just wanted to clarify!!! (you know...so there were no misunderstandings or swelled heads!) Hyuck Hyuck.
-
yeah Green....but think of the hassle (& cost!) of the fills had you gone to the US or Mexico! You did good!

ROTFLMAO.... Mr. Loriely actually pureed a piece of pizza???? That is FREAKIN' hilarious!!!! Leave it to a man!!!!! :hurt :hurt :hurt -
Hey Cloe...my only advice about needing another fill is: if you are doing things "right" and you aren't losing 1-2 lbs per week (on average) then you may want to consider a fill. BUT, remember you can plateau for a couple/few weeks and then drop 4 or 5 lbs.....so don't get your fill too soon....as long as your losses average 1-2 lbs per week over a month you are likely okay.

I agree with Argon....definitely NOT a chick flik. Very funny movie.....Mr. Yoda also really liked it. (mind you Mr Yoda and Mr Argon may be slightly more Enlightened than most men....but I think Mr. Loriely can take it too!). (just give him a chip to nibble on in the movie and he'll be happy!) LOL -

Thanks guys....*puts out turtle food to lure it further along* :hungry: Yoda's Yuk Yuk: Why do women rub their eyes when they get out of bed in the morning? .......because they don't have balls to scratch. Okay, here is one more for the road: Mikey Mouse stood before the judge waiting for the verdict. "Mickey Mouse, I cannot grant you a divorce since the court has found Minnie Mouse to be mentally competent", proclaimed the judge. "But, your Honour", says Mickey Mouse..."I didn't say Minnie Mouse was crazy. I said she was fucking Goofy!!!!!" :hurt -
Absolutely loved that movie too!

Lila & Diane: Best of luck and here's to a speedy recovery!! Lila...did u get my pm? Have a GRRREAT trip....hope you and your sister thoroughly enjoy youselves; leave something at Square One for everyone else! Cloe....pssst you don't HAVE to be nice to me all the time, ya know!!!
-
Hey Wheezy...I was like that too...scale wouldn't move for a long time and then I'd drop....in fact, that is still the way it works for me. Grrrr. But I try and appreciate the little wins! Anyhoooo, below are two threads that explain my fill saga. The first one with the fill probs I had and the second one explains the "missing" 5ccs. hehe. Of course, since then I have had my fill under fluro (bringing me to 7ccs) and all is well in fill land now. Not sure yet if I'm at my "sweet spot" but I'm waiting to see first before I get another fill. I don't want to be too tight (looks at Argon!). :nervous http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=20359 http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=20621

Yeah....I hear ya Green. I was waaaaay bitchy on the pre-op diet and not only bitchy but sad on the post-op. I'm okay now though. Mostly! LOL. As for my husband....yeah he was okay until surgery day too. But I think that is because immediately before I went in for it...we were saying goodbye and doing the hugs/kisses thing in the hall and I slipped something into his hand. It was a stone that said "Love" on it. He pretty much lost it at that point. That wasn't my intent of course; I just wanted to do one last nice thing for him ....just in case...ya know? So he would have a good memory. Later he told me that he didn't let go of that stone until he saw me again the next morning (I had to stay the night....during which he stayed at a hotel).
