I like that you posted a message from yourself on your profile so that visitors can read a little about you right up front. I'm very excited for you, and I hope your wait is not very long either.

I'm pretty new here too. I didn't join until right after my surgery last month. Everybody has been really helpful so far. The doctors tell you so much, but there are those little things that only other people who have had the surgery can really share with you. So far, I haven't really met anyone that has not taught me a little something new about this experience. I think it's that genuine helpfulness that has helped me stay positive.
