Hmmm....my story is probably very similar to others.  I have struggled with my weight since having children.   I have tried every weight loss gimick out there...from LA Weigh Loss, Jenny Craig, Herbal Magic, Weight Watchers, Atkins, and so forth...I have lossed but only to gain all plus more back.  Two years ago my doctor put in a referral for me to the Weight Wise program in Edmonton.  In June of this year I had received confirmation from them that I was accepted into their program.  I am still waiting for my first initial appointment with a doctor from the Royal Alex to determine the best route for me, which I think is lapband.  This program after the initial meeting with a doctor will take nine months.  I am not sure how much longer I am willing to wait, I need to be healthy now.
