I live in Stone Mountain, and I am going to a seminar hosted through his office for lapband surgery on October 30th. I can't wait to attend, as I'm having problems with coverage through my Health Plan. It also sucks that I work for this particular Health Plan. Hopefully, from the seminar I can get some recommendations as far as coverage or financing. Pam

Hello All, I am so glad I found this forum, I have done my research and I've decided to get the Realize Band, I would like to have my surgery in the Summer of 09 if possible. However, I have already reached an roadblock on my journey to losing weight. I called my insurance company which is also my EMPLOYER and I was told that under our plan we don't have an Obesity Rider, which means I would have to pay for the surgery out of pocket at 100%. I was thinking of trying another insurance plan with an another carrier, what do you all think?? If you don't think that would be an good idea, do you all have any other suggestions? tryin2lose
