I didnt experience a lot of restriction until after my 3rd fill last week... Dont get discouraged!

I was banded on 11/12/08. I just had my first fill about 2 days ago. Im already eating small amounts of regular food and nothing has given me trouble yet. I was told that I need to get at least 60 grams of protien in a day. How are you feeling?

I was banded on 11/12 and I am feeling really good. I only have the occasional gas pains (I just put a GasX strip in my mouth and that clears it up). The only part that is still tender is where the port is and I am still really bruised on my stomach. I am on clear liquids for a week - I will never again want jello after this week Next week I can go to "full liquids" (cream of wheat, yogurt, strained cream soups) and I cant wait. I feel hungry but am not sure if I am really hungry or just want to eat. My thoughts are with everyone else out there who are doing the same. Kristen

hey everyone :wink2: I was banded on 11/12/08. I was talking to a friend today and she mentioned someone else she knew who had lapband - their hair thinned out for about 6 months. In my reading before surgery this did not seem like a common thing. Has anyone else lost a large amount of hair post op? I dont want that to happen!
