    Fast food!

I try to avoid fast food, but sometimes it is all you can find to eat when in a hurry. So I try to be careful when eating there. Like I love McDonald's fruit and yogurt parfait, grilled chicken without bread, baked potato from Wendys or chili, Inside of Taco Bells Chicken Fresco tacos, refried beans when on mushies from Taco Bell. Coleslaw from Chickfila, you can always find somehting that will work and not be bad for you, just choose wisley. Occasionally I will have a burger and eat just the meat with mustard and veggies.

anybody know a reasobable priced fluro fill

I pay $125 for a non-fluro fill and $175 for a fluro fill. Only $50 more. Hope that helps. Oh I did have another doc quote me over $500. Sometimes it depends on the hospital where they do the fluro versus just the docs fee.

    now at 7.75 cc... question

I was filled today too!! I am at 7.4 in a 14cc band...on liquids for 2 days and I always get a headache...I hate it! But my band is finally feeling tighter!! I am happy about that!
  7. Maybe we should start a Fibro thread or keep using this one, to stay in touch and see each others progress with Fibro and how the lapband effects each of us. I am curious how each one will be effected differently. What do you guys think? May be a good resource for when we are having bad days too.....
  8. I have fibro and am 5 months post op. The thing I hate the most is that I would like to start exercising to help my weight loss but I just can't the fibro is so bad I am in pain all the time, especially if I walk to much or do too much. But that is not a lap band problem, my doc thinks the lap band can "cure" fibro, but I know skinny people with fibro too so I dont know, but maybe it makes the pain less by getting the heavy weight off. Good luck!

    New with a question

I did not have a pain pump, I was in alot of pain, but I think that might have made it much more complicated and worse. Just a tip, make sure you get your scheduled fills after to get best results! Good Luck! I took a nasal spray pain medicine which was great and worked well.

    one fill.....will this plan work?

I agree and fortunatley you have a small band so it should not take much....I have a 14cc band so I have to have a ton of fills! Maybe even just one or two will do it for you...can around and check pricing an dyour doc may let you make payments. I pay $125 for a fill, but they give me a month to pay if i need it and longer if i asked i'm sure

    your favorite chewable vitamin...

I am taking Flintstones now, they have a new Improved Taste one that just came out, Purple is my favorite so far. I have take Centrum Orange and they are too grose! M Doc said to take the Flintstones and that alot of her patients take the Cosco brand called Kirklands and they they are small enough to swallow but I have not seen any that I thought would be small enough. I only take 1 Flintstone because the bottle says one for adults. They have a big bottle at Cosco of the Flitstones that is a good deal.
