  1. Ok I don't know how many of you out there have any trouble finding that perfect way of cooking your chicken to be honest it took me 2 years to figure out the best way for me to make it, and be able to easily eat it with the band. So what I do is take my boneless skinless chicken breast and beat it yes beat it half to death lol which makes for tenderness, I then take a good steak knife and poke holes all in it (don't worry all you folks once marrinated and grilled the chicken draws up don't be afraid to beat it up before cooking I promise it will draw back up just don't go overboard) after the holes buy you some marrinade you can use italian dressing or several other marrinades that look like salad dressings but I use the herb and garlic by various companys whoever is cheaper. ok so let it marrinate as long as possible at least 4 hrs anything over is great. Then I use various seasonings you can use your imagination on this but the marrinade is really all the flavor you need . But after that slap them babies on the top side of the grill cook them fast don't leave them on too long or you will have chicken jerkey but if you pull them off in the rite amount of time BAM@! perfect juicy full of flavor chicken off the grill!:smile2:

  2. Hey to all my friends out there old and new I have to first apologize because I started a new name, if you see any posts out there by huberslave or huberrover that was me. As it is I plan to keep this name which is my name so there is no confusion and I also wanted to start fresh with my profile and pictures. I have had the band for nearly two years Im doing great so far I love my band and wouldn't trade it for all the food in the world lol. So anyhow friends hit me up if you have any questions old or new and I will do my best to get back to you. :smile2:

  3. :help: Hey everyone I was banded on 1/25 of this year and I have been doing really well, but I think I'm starting to slip away from the correct way of life that the band urges you to have. I feel as if I can eat more than I am supposed to, and its really hard for me not to drink with my meals. I guess my main concern would be overstreching my pouch which scares the life out of me to even think about. I mean I just had my first feel and it seems like the restriction isn't what its supposed to be although my doctor said my pouch looked perfect. Mainly when I eat the food feels like it gets stuck for a moment once the pain is gone from those first two bites I can eat pretty good, but its almost like I could eat like I used to other than those first two bites, although I haven't tested the limits of the band I feel as if I am eatin a little more than I should at meal time, and feel like I could fit even more if that makes since, so I'm asking for advice from anyone who knows what Im goin through....

  4. Hey everyone everything is still doing good after my surgery, I'm on soft foods this week and then solid foods starting thurday and hopefully get a fill after march 1, but so far I think I've done really good with the band, I hope this has been as easy for all of you as it has for me.
