  1. Weird about the names thing, eh? I don't know if this is the way to respond to your message, cause I'm so new to this thing. And, I know when they asked me if I was sticking to the diet...I said, "as best I can"...well, that wasn't exactly true either, I probably could have done better. That's why I asked you about telling the whole truth to the dietician.

It sounded to me like you're doing great, you just need to wait for the surgery to catch up with where your mind wants you to be. I am struggling with the same stuff, that's why I am saying it. Ate 3 Oreo cookies yesterday...why did I even buy them ?!?!?!? It was just stupid to bring them into the house. My kids don't need them either, cause 2 of my 4 are headed down the same road as me. They will eat fruit, so that's what I should keep here instead. Hormones really get me, though, so that's why I bought them.

I think we are the only addicts that HAVE to keep doing what they are addicted to and buying what they are addicted to...cruel spot to be.

you asked about how much to lose, I would like for my goal to be around 122 lbs. But, my next short term goal is 20 more pounds before Thanksgiving. I might have a 3rd fill mid nov and that might help get me there...we'll just have to see. What about you?

Do you have trouble not drinking with your meals? That is one of the hardest things for me right now. I actually have to look at the clock and force myself not to drink for 30 minutes. distraction seems to work best.

    just had 1st fill-4cc's didn't touch me

Yeah for you !!!! I've been reading your posts and I think if your dietician told you that you're eating the right things (you didn't lie to her, did you?!?!?!?) then you are what this surgery was thinked up for---hee hee...as your fills progress, your noticable "full feeling" will become sooner and sooner and GRADUALLY you will eat less and therefore lose the weight. Remember, this is a slow process, you didn't get here overnight, and getting down to your goal overnight has it's consequences...that's what bypass is for...I say, be glad for the earlier fill, it's gonna help get you where you want to be...but, be patient with your band and yourself. I just had my 2nd fill -1cc- for a total of 4 cc in a 10 cc band. I am noticing some restriction, the total amount of what I eat in a day has decreased, but it's not like I only eat a meatball and I'm full. A word of advice, take it for what it's worth---I buy those 3 ounce protein bullets from GNC (42 grams of protein in each test tube)...the grape ones...and add 1/2 of it to a litre water bottle with an equate grape drink bottle mix...the protein helps to curb my appetite while the water is a MUST...maybe this will help...drink between meals to help with the starving feeling...hope it gets better.
