Wow, Janelle.. I a$ so sorry to hear that. Hopefully tomorrow will be much better! I did OK today~ just keeping super busy! Gas pains are almost gone.... And I blended up some refried Beans and cheese this evening. So far so good! Arisa! I'm so glad to hear from you! I wondered if you were doing OK! The 1st 3 days post-op I was all about gas strips!! Even had 1 today... Keep me posted on how u feel!

Hey y'all! I was banded on Fri... Doing well! Trying to drink a lot of water and my shakes... Chicken broth......~ I also went back to work today w/no problems. I am definitely ready for mushies on Wed.! I want some refried beans! LOL -

Thanks so much! So far, so good. I have some discomfort when I move at times, but nothing awful at all! I have the gas-x strips, and I'm walking... The nagging shoulder pain is annoying, but gas-x really helps. I am sipping on water and crystal light much as I can, and 2 oz protein shake 3x/day. I hope I am ready for work monday too!

And... I'm banded! Craziness!! I went in at about 9:15 a.m.... Was in r ecovery by about 10.... And got home close to 11:45 a.m. I'll write more later--about to get up for a walk then rest some more. So far so good!!! -

I made some curtains today and go them hung, and put up my word wall--i am calling my room DONE! It looks awesome. I was told the same thing re:nothing after midnight... But no last meal! LOL- I want to know what you decide on! I have to be there at 7:30 in the morning!! Wow!

OMG is right! LOL~ crazy right?!? How are you doing??? My room is almost finished. Arisa- how are you?? 11 kiddo's and one para?? Wow! Prayers for you. I will have 8 and 2 paras. I'm working hard on my room too. 2 1/2 more days!! Yikes!

Hi y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. I spent most of the week working in my classroom trying to make sure I am all done by surgery day! It's nuts that in 1 more wk I'll be getting banded!! :-D craziness!!

It's definitely difficult, ms_mention...~ I find I want a taste of everything! LOL~ I'm trucking along...... not really looking forward to the weekend. Much harder to stay on track when not as busy! Ah well..... How's everyone?

Thanks for the advice onmyway-i appreciate it. What did you take for variety to sip on...? Did you measure and keep track of those drink too? I thought I might do that too. Makes sense that if you show the doc what you are eating and drinking, your fill shld be "accurate". ms_mention: I also taught Kindergarten for 8 years. :blushing: yet another link. :cool2: how's your pre-op diet going??
