Hi all Can anyone out there give me information on kaiser and getting surgury I have just started and feel like i am so confussed I do not know what to do I know I can not do it on my own. I need help but what are the requirement to get surgury thru kiser anyone whom has help I would love to have them:tt2::wub::eek:

Has any one had there surgery done at kaiser fremont. How long did it take? and anyother advice you could give me:thumbup:

Hi Christina Yes there is still a process but do not worry about it. I was so worried right know I am in the process of losing my 10%. but it feels as if as long as everything is ok that you will be fine. there is another group that can really help you gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients : Kaiser patient Gastric Bypass support

I all you 2009 bandsters I am still waiting I am with Kaiser so they make you lose 10% of your body weight before even putting you on the list that has 3000 people on it so right know everything is don except my second psyic. and my 10% so all you whom do not have to do the jump up and down and praise the gods:angry::cursing::thumbup: and congrats to all whom have the surgery dayte yayayayayayayaay:lol:

Hi Minxz this is how far I have come Physical, Referral,psychi. I still have all the rest the first two weeks in Nov.

I have recieved my bypass orientation, it is on Nov 9 at 2 and that is as far as I have come. I guess after that I will meet with the director of bariatrics to see if I can get in. then We will see from there so for me the month of Nov. is realy busy I have psyi, obgyn,2 orientations for WLS so I am just hoping and praying it all goes well they want me to lose 20 to 25 pounds before surgery make sure your refferral is in the fremont and after your dr. tells you it is in call them everyday it took me a week from refferal to get my orientation, but Kaiser has you do a lot in order to recieve the surgery EKG, TREADMILL, LABS (i have done two already) and I know there is more more psyic and Nuti and weekly to monthly meetings unsure

Hi I see you posted a while ago how are things now for you tell me all? I just started my process in Fremont kaiser. I have my referral to the bariatric and my appointment is on 11-9,I have a bmi of 41 to 43 unsure of my height I have seen the nutri all ready and my pschi,and all of the other appoints are all the first and second week of Nov. i still need to schedule my EKG,chest x ray and I am unsure what else so if you can tell me as much as you can I would love the know Thank you Atasca.

I am unsure I am hearing the richmond is the best or fastest I am waiting right know for the baratic clinic to call me for my first orint. I have my apnea scheduled my pysic scheduled and my Nutri. done I just got my referreal for the clinic I have an orintainion on wls next month as well rule never miss appointment I start this last year and change my mind telling myself I could do this on my own I realliezd I cant at decided this was the answer so I missed My first of all the appts. and I had to get new refferals to apnea ans psyic to 3 months to reschedule so my new rule is do not miss appointments

That sounds great it is always fun to go through things with other people going through the same thing I am also at the very beinging of my wls journey and cant not wait untle the end Hope to chat with you soon

Hi all I have just started with Kaiser fremont/ Hayward I have visisted the the Nut. and Has A sleep apnea and Psch. appointment in November. I also Have my first WLS orientation next month as well. I do not have a refferral to the bariatc clinic so I made an appoint with my PCP for next wekk to see if she will give me one so what comes next i heard soome poeple are denied throu kaiser does anyone have information on that. and am I on the righ track with kaier it is so confussing will the orientation help with all the confussion Help
