Girl with ur current weight u probably won't qualify for a revision... I was 220 when I got mine. Gaining is a pain in the arse I get it totally. I recommend dr Jenkins in auburn:). He got me into surgery quick and whenever I get right I get an endo fast

Well I was scared. Kaiser makes everyone freak about nutrition deficiencies. I do not take any special Vitamins at all. Just my once a day. I recommend it. However it's no easier then my band to loose weight. :/. I was super sick after sammmi my blood pressure would not go down the surgery saved me in many ways I'm off blood pressure meds:). Don't be scared of rny... I have had some complications... Mainly with scar tissue but that's it. They have to widen my esophagus bc all the scar tissue in my body. What are your fears I'll try to help:)

Hey girls! Wow have not seen many of you in years! Well I'm rny now. As of last year. My band slipped and I vomited alllll the time literally 8-10 times a day. I'm now down to almost goal tho. But it's hard. It's so nice to see allll your names its a reminder of how far we came and our motivation we should plan a get together!

Congratulations Heather! I too thought you had surgery a while ago, but Im glad its finally done:) I read just this last page, and honestly if i had th eoption to redo any of it i would have done no surgery at all. I would have gone thru preop, heck i lost a lot on preop, after band i lost what 30, and gained 15 back fast. I am still considered a "success" as most of us are, but i think we all excpected it to be a bit different. I have a HARDER time loosing weight now but whatever.. I cant really focus on it anymore, for the past 3 yrs i have been dieiting daily, now since im pregnant (most know this i think??) i have to teach myself how to eat again, lol. AND eat carbs oh my i missed the carbs. Luckily ive lost 2 lbs since finding out prego, but ihave no energy to work out at all, barely walk it blows. I miss my active lifestyle. I miss all you girls we need to do another lunch soon! Seriously. Question anyone talk to Christine?? i need to talk to her about how the pregnancy went with her, im havin lotsa issues.. and since not a pt many places i cant get the band looked at.. so i have to go thru with the pregnancy with my band all a mess:) How is everyone doing??

Hi! I feel ya i am either 8-10 weeks we have to do an us to find out where.. i had two periods in a 3 week frame:) And all i do is eat now, but the nausea KILLS ME. AND the vitamins, teh dr finally took me off my prenatal because of the band. How are you doing? I feel so alone cause all my pregnant friends have no idea im banded first off and dont get why my pregnancy is so different food wise.

Pam I can drink now, but not anymore, i have started to bloat up again, and my stomach well abdomen is starting to ache. Including the port and my middle back. All the bariatric drs i called today the nurses said they have never heard of a pouch gone missing. They said the pouch is always there cause the band holds it there, and if there is no barium pooling above my band, something has happened. I just need to find an ER with a band specialist sitting there.... I was fine all day till about.. now. Im so disapoiinted in kaiser right now, i remmeber asking at orientation "what happens if we loose insurance" answer" we ownthe band you can always come in for consultations" Mike wants me to get a class action going cause he said he heard it like 4 times that id be able to be seen.

What is annoying is i remember them saying that my band was owned by them and they would always atleast consult us... this was before we got the band. AND now.... im screwed? Im lost.. kinda feels like a lawsuit.

So i am on the hunt for a bariatric surgeon who takes Medical. I am about to just pay out of pocket for some insurance. This is RIDICULOUS. Bad news or good first??? Kaiser might take medical i have to see how they do it, sometimes they will take it straight sometimes they make you pay it. EVERYONE PAY ATTN. If you loose insurance and get medical within 6 months, YOU CAN GET KAISER STILL. They grandfather you in with medical. Bad news... They do NOT take you at all, even with the waiving fees idea.. Not at all. Anabell said sorry i gave you wrong information nicole. So ya. They wont even look at my xrays. Or any of it. I told them no pouch and the other drs everyone says that sounds serious, but noone can do anything for me.
