  1. Happy 42nd Birthday tinakmorales!

  2. I was banded in Mexico in 2006; trying to reach my doc, but having a bit of trouble. The docs here kept filling and unfilling me based on what I asked for. Finally a doc suggested fluoroscope which showed NO fluid getting through with hardly any fluid in my band! I had been taking Nexium for over a year - didn't realize that should NOT be happening. So, the doc here took all fluid out and I can eat anything! He said food is collecting in a pouch above my band. I'm so worried that I'm going to have to have it removed. He didn't say anything about a liquid diet, but I've read some threads and that is what people did. Should I try that? I'm so hungry ALL the time! How in the world am I going to make it on liquids?! How long do I need to do this? And no food EVER? I don't want to lose my band, but need it to start working again! I'm gaining weight like crazy! Advice? Please!

Do you think it's a slip??

This is Tina in Florida. I've never done this so I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing. However, this is exactly what is happening to me. I wondered if anyone responded with an answer? I have rescheduled my upper GI for next week, and tomorrow am going to have the doc who did this last fill back some of the fluid out. I just can't seem to get a decent fill no matter who I go to! I am in soooo much pain from the reflux and am on Nexium, Relgan, and still have to take Zantac and Maalox just to make it through the day! Please let me know if someone responds....Thanks!
