I love my doctor & his assistant Michael too.. :mad: They are wonderful! The last time I went to see them I was not too happy with my results. But Michael always picks me up... He reashures me & encourages me to keep moving on this journey. He even gave me a hugg. :wink2: Seriously... Im glad u love ur doctors because I love mine too.. -

I got my band approved by Athem Blue Cross/ ppo... I went to see my doctor on 10/12 and by 11/5 I already had my approval....

Congrats on being band yes the sore throat & the gas is normal...& you'll be sore for a few days maybe weeks. I was sore for about 3 weeks & I couldnt get up by my self until the 3rd day... after. Just be careful & take care of your self. -

I have lost 55 lbs & it has been around the same amount of time as you I was band on 12/12/08 . I work out 2 hours x5 a week eat well & drink my H20 & Vitamins ... But I have gone down 11 sizes in clothes.. from a size 28- 16... I dont care if my pounds dont show in the scale because they are ,,in the inches....( who's going to be lifting me up anyway? Even doctor says im doing well & my work is defenetly paying off :thumbup: -

Its so worth it.... lap band for me has been an amazing blessing from GOD. Be patient in a few weeks you will be better than you where before the band. -
