I used Dr. Ren at NYU also! She is absolutely fabulous. She is very no-nonsense, straightforward, and down to earth. The office there can get a little hectic, but everyone is professional and experienced. I do all my follow-ups with Gaspar, the NP at the office and he is extremely friendly and helpful. If your daughter wants, tell her to feel free to contact me with any questions about my experience ? I?m no expert but I can certainly speak to what I?ve gone through.

Congratulations!! My daughter (age 24) is having the Realize Band Surgery on April 20. Her doctor is Dr. Ren at NYU. Who did you use, and what was your experience?

Is anyone interested in forming a support group for lap banders in the 22-30 age group? I am scheduled for the Realize Band with Dr. Ren (NYU) on April 20th. While I am so excited about this, I am very nervous. I would love to have the support of others in the same boat. I live on Eastern Long Island, and work in Western Suffolk county.
