  3. Hi There, Sorry it has taken so long to respond, how are you doing? Is eating still making you feel as though you have something stuck in your throat? Sometimes if you are overeating that is the feeling you will get. or perhaps not chewing enough will cause that as well. As far as diet I have no set diet other than I do not consume any bread products as they make me ill and try to make healthy choices like chicken and fish rather than beef or pastas. and Lots of fresh veggies and fruits. I take vitamins and try to stick with a protien supplement as well. If there is anything else I can do to help please let me know.

  4. You look fantastic! I feel inspired.

    My Journey Thus Far...

I had lapband surgery Jan. 17, 2007 and at my highest weight was 353 lbs and wore a size 28-30, I had to have my band replaced on Oct. 2008 but even with the complications it had been the best decision of my life.. I am now just 50 lbs from my goal weight and down to a size 16..
  7. sorry it has taken so long to get back with you, I have not been online in some time and hope all is well with you. The issue I started with was nausea every time I ate anything, it continued to get worse and I was in pain every time I would eat, finally a test showed the band had slipped and caused a blockage so I had emergency surgery to replace it. I am doing much better with the new one! Best of luck to you!

  8. OMG thank you so much. I have been waiting for some who is the same weight as im and have a great weight loss the u so much for your post

  9. Thank you, this has made such an amazing change in my life! I cannot say how happy I am that I chose to have this surgery.

  10. Thank you, this has made such an amazing change in my life! I cannot say how happy I am that I chose to have this surgery.

  11. Could you tell me a little more about your complications and what led to having the band slip?? I had my surgery in September 2007, I am only down 28 pounds. I have had to have the liquid completely removed from my band twice during this time cause of inability to eat. Did you have any similair occurances? I am struggling with my most recent fill and dont know what I need to do.

  12. You look great. Congrats. Keep up the good work.

  13. Hi SWBgal,

I have a question for you. Why did you have band revision or replacement. I am 15 months out and I just started some issue on my left side under my ribs. I told my dr the band has come "unclipped". he said no way. I will go for an ultrasound on Tuesday. Just wondering what issues started your path to the replacement?

  14. Congrats! I am so afraid something will happen to my band before I reach my goal or even after.. I am self pay and I would be hard pressed to come up with the money for another one! lol! Everytime I have PB or anything.. it scares me thinking my band might slip..... You have done wonderfully! Keep up the good work!
