Hi everyone- I am from the Dallas area. My name is Michele. I was banded in July. I have not made as much progress as i would have expected by now. I think I have lost about 15 pounds, maybe alittle more. I had a fairly low BMI to begin with so perhaps that is why it is slow going. I feel like I need to get busy with some exercise but I could go on and on with why I haven't been exercising more. How many calories are you guys eating on average? How much exercise are ya'll able to get in? I am an RN and have a strong background in nutrition so I know mathmatically how to lose weight. I guess I just expected it to be coming off quicker than it is. Anyway, I am just looking for some people to talk to about their personal experiences and see how the band is working for them.
