    Any Brand Suggestions for Elliptical??

Hello, We have a precor elliptical machine. It cost around 4000 or so. The ramp goes up and down which my husband and I both love. We use it mostly everyday between the two of us and have had it for about 3 years without any trouble. We would buy it again. Michelle
  4. Hello, I have recently had people at work tell me they think I am too thin and have been telling my husband that as well. Now they have him concerned and he is bothering me about it. I am in the normal BMI range with a BMI of 22. I am 5'8" and weigh 145. I feel very healthy and at an appropriate weight. I work out moderatly - 5x/week for about 40 minutes. I eat a wide variety of foods and take my supplements. My feelings are getting hurt and I am wondering if anyone else has had experience with this and how have you dealt with it? My husband is overweight as are many of the people I work with. I think we are just used to seeing people heavy and that when you are in the normal range you look thin. I am guessing they are also used to seeing me heavy and that this is all a change for them. Please let me know what you say to people and has anyone else had problems with this? thank you , michelle

    $82, 000 LapBand Bill

Yes, I agree with NurseKathy. If someone is so negative about doctors then perhaps they can take care of themselves and do their own surgery. No one forced you to see the doctor. I for one don't seek out services of people I don't trust. The doctors have better things to do with their time and other people to take care of who actually need and appreciate their services then someone with that kind of attitude! I wish you health and happiness! Michelle

    $82, 000 LapBand Bill

I work in the medical field. No one is trying to rip anyone off. The bills are routinely way above what is reimbursed. The insurance companies have a contract with the hospital and will get a set amount payed to them based on what has been agreed upon. This will not make sense to you unless you work in the medical industry. And, remember the bill looks excessive to you but there is also the added cost of paying for those patients that come in for all different reasons with no insurance. The payment for their care has to come from somewhere and you with the insurance help pay for their care! Yes, this increases the cost to everyone. The nurses like to get payed for the work they do just like everyone else. michelle
