2nd chance

Hello Dear.., I am lilly just moved to the chicago area from dallas..I have had the band over a year and have had nothing but problems with very little weight loss. Some side effects include pbing, vommiting, stomach pain, port pain, dehydration etc. I don't know how to convince the doctor to have it removed since it is rare and have insurance to cover it..I been having lots of other issues with the band and need to get it removed..Do you know how long it takes for the insurance to approve the removal if its due to medical complications? I have Illinois blue cross blue shield insurance. It had the original surgery done in dallas, TX..
