Just wanted to tell you that you are a blessing to me. I admire you for achieving your weight loss. I love to read your posts and also your advice to all of us. I want to one day also be able be an example like you. I was lapbanded on the 31st of December 2008, I am 54yrs young . I am on my mushy foods now. I have already lost 23 lbs. and have like 104 more to go.I feel so much better! I feel energetic and very happy to have the lapband. I was scared and had alot of emotional feelings, and i am sure everybody goes through this, but I am so glad I went ahead with it. I am looking forward to everyday now and know that tomorrow I will feel even better. I want to keep in touch with you and hope that you will be my mentor. You have done such a great job in your weight loss and I look up to you.

Hi, I just got banded on 12/31/2008. I was reading your sucess story and that is what I want to do too. I just want my fill and be able to eat the foods i like but reasonably. I admire what you have accomplished, and I too want to be like you and accomplish my weight loss. Before my 2 wk Protein diet I was weighing 257, then lost 13lbs on my surgery date. I feel I have probably lost more. I want to put be very commited to this new me, and I want to someday also be able to say my success story. I know that I made the right choice in having the Lapband and WANT to make it work. Your story inspired me and saw myself like you. God Bless you always :thumbup: -

Hi Everyone, I am going to be banded on Wed. the 31st. I am excited and yes, I have been feeling the same way too. I too think of the surgery and just hope that everything comes out good for us all !!! Lets keep each other in prayer, have faith and everything will go great ! Just think, by next year at this time we will be like 100 lbs. lighter ! That is really exciting. Lets just think positive !!
