About Me

  • Biography
I hope I don't get rejected. I am not a bandster. But my Boyfriend is. He has had his band for about 18 months. He has lost about 90 pounds total. It is hard to live with his "new" habits.

    Please help!

I signed up about a year ago.. My Boy friend is actually the one that is banded.. But I have been there with him every step of the way... Anyhow he started at about 275 and has gotten down to around 170.. The thing is that I am and have been worried about his eating habbits for a while.. One thing is that he only eats about once a day.. that drives me crazy, when he does it is not much at all! Most of the time I will catch him throwing up! He says it is because he has a hard time getting it to go down.. I honestly think he has an eating disorder. I know that bandsters should avoid throwing up anyway so that the band does not turn.. I have asked him to go get it let out a little if he can't eat and he gets upset with me... Like I want him to gain weight or something?? I feel a little helpless about the whole situation. Just wondering if anyone else does the same thing...
  5. Hey everyone this site is VERY! Helpful! I hope I am not "rejected" I am not a bandster but My Boyfriend is... I went with him for his 3rd fill/adjustment on Friday and I had so much fun talking to all the ladies in the office and hearing about the things that they all have in common. Which was a huge help because there are alot of different things that I find weird or even scary that he does that they all said were perfectly normal! Like when he eats he will sometimes jump up out of his seat and stretch or take a deep breathe... it would scare me at first and they all laughed and were like ohh yea that happens one lady said she would hold a chair and lean to the side... I have questions and worry alot about his health and well being with the surgury so I hope to make some friends and learn about the lifestyle. That I honestly sometimes feel like an "outsider!"
