I just want to extend a special thanks to all of you that joined in on chat last night, it took some doing but together we had a great time.. I would like to find out if any one would like to set up a regular chat time , I was thinking about 4PM EST. We could have some general conversations and or have topics. we would have to be polite to each other and hve a little fun sharing . What do you think?

Stella I’m sorry have you experienced Dr fishers Bedside manner ? I am not disagreeing with you that he does not have a reputation of having a challenging bedside manner, but unless you have experienced it for yourself I don’t think such propagating such negative remarks would be a good idea.. I was banded by Dr Fisher and I Chose Him because of his bedside manner and experience. You see, Dr Fisher has such a reputation because he is committed to his patients success, and is his sweet and sour way he is very blunt, mater of fact and will take none of whining and excuses from his patients. From all of my accounts with experiences with him and his Successful patients. They all agree that he has shown them nothing more then tough love and it is exactly that "horrible bedside " that has allowed them to be so successful for so long. From my account he has been kind, fair, and by all accounts supportive in the ups and downs. I could go on but basically my point is, I’m sorry if you have had a bad experience with Dr fisher, and if you haven’t then perhaps you should be careful about what rumors you want to spread. Maybe some people need a Dr with a little more commitment to their patients, and some of us need a Dr that will not coddle or let us skate by with excuses. If this is in turn " horrible Bedside manner "then So be it give me some more, please!!

Fish, raw, tuna, the colder the better, before I would have tuna from time to time,,, I admit it I love raw tuna with a spicy sauce.. yummy,, I could eat it every day !

I am Thankful, I am thankful... I have heat, lots of it 120 degress some days. Its hot, cloudless days, but Im thanksful, Heat wont fall from the sky and well up to destroy my home, it wont pile up in front of my door and hold me hostage, It wont shake me out of bed at night .. Im thankful for the heat Viva Las Vegas

Yea.. well I had a bad week, but I caught it as the numbers started to creep up back to 250 .. ouch thats 4 pounds, Im back to 247 .. almost where i started one month ago.. I curse myself for slackin off, not weighin my food, and not drinking enough water. Back on track..

I was banded by Dr fisher , I have nothing but good things to say about him !

I only got twelve right by guessing the only one I knoe for sure was the one about the purple ink.. how sad is that?

cant explain , but understand and know how you feel, I had my second fill 10 weeks ago and for 2 weeks after I felt no diffrent , so I called my doc to make an appointment and within 24 hours I had restriction and have for 10 weeks. hang in there, and if it helps make a placebo DR appointment

Im happy , happy happy, happy, happy,I have good days and some I get fustrated , I thinkits that way with any diet or weight loss choice, its not easy but its a great tool and used correctly its awesome!

Weetsin, thank you for so accurately decribing this I too have the random , yet foodless amazing slime. I am always amazed at the sheer texture and amout of the stuff.. so here is explaination I have found, when you eat too fast or you dont chew enough something gets stuck , it holds the bottom of your esophogus open and it reacts because it thinks you have something stuck in it by prducing a inhumane amout of thick gooey slime to try to lubracate and unstick what ever is stuck.. I suffer with this at random, but I have found smaller forks and no white bread of any form helps avoid this. I spoke to my Dr about it and he assures me that that is a sign of good restriction with bad behavior.. at least were doing something right. I have tried to hold ogg on the heaving of slime, but mostly I feel like Im filling up, and with one blllahh.. Birth to homemade lava lamp style slime is made!!

This was and still is my bigggest challenge, but I have found a tool to helo, its a oyster fork, its a tiny fork with three prongs, I dont care what I eat with it , it makes all the diffrence.. I like it so much I bought a dozen of them .. at a restarant supply place.. it was the best 3 bucks I have ever spent..you can get dessert spoons too!

It is awful to see such a great procedure go bad, It can make it so hard to understand and cause regret and guilt.. but you did this for a reason, focus on getting better, then go back to why you made the choice in the first place.. Like alot of things, time will heal the anger and regret and you will feel better because of the weight you have lost and the apprecaition of life you have gained.
