My surgery is scheduled for October 9th. I was supposed to have gastric by-pass but due to a problem with my stomach, my doctor said it would not be wise; thus, banding is my next option. I had done extensive research on the bypass but find myself coming up short on info on banding. What liquids should I have on hand when I come home from the hospital and what is the best protein mix to use. I would like something that taste good. I need to lose 70 to 80 lbs according to my doc. I am 62 years old and in need of much better health.
