hey toot
thanks girls...i know what yo mean about it going fast. at first i was like "they need to hurry up and give me a date now im like ok here it is only a couple of days left.
im really excited though. i cant wait until i start feeling better. im sick of these shakes but they have gotten so much easier to do.
im not doing my shopping until wednesday night...i always wait to the last minute to do everything.
hi
i wanted to start this because i know we all might have things we are buying for after our surgeries. i have a few things on my list like the gas-x, smaller utensils, sippy cup.
what are you all buying? it might be something that someone can use but never thought about.
thanks for sharing
SW- 345 (as of july 10)- i needed a SW
CW-332.6
i can't remember what i weighed on monday so im just going to use my pre-op diet weight as a start weight. we never really discussed a format or anything so this is how i will do mine going forward.
LW WI (last week weigh in)
CW (current weight)
if you guys come up with something else let me know.
angelic i have no idea where i am in line. i will not find out until tomorrow. im hoping im before lunch.
losingit i agree with you. from reading other post op posts we will not want anything the first few days anyway. now after the pain who knows....we have to get through the gas first lol.
hang in there, just keep thinking positive and how you do not want to be put under then wake up with no band. you only have a few days left, stick to it, i know i am...... i am not trying to go through another two weeks of this pre-op.
hi all
i know we have been quiet on this thread but i just had to post because we are getting so close to "our" day. i hope you all are staying positive on your pre-op diets if you have one. i always thoight people who said it got easier was just talking but it really did get better. i attended a family gathering on saturday and did not cheat.
im sure i'll be posting again before the 23rd but if not i want to wish you all the best.
hey
thank you for sharing your experience. we have to hear everything because everyone's experience will be different. i like to know all three sides of the story, the good, bad and mine. we are here to support you not be upset because you had a bumpy day.
i truly hope you start feeling better. please keep sharing whether its a good/bad day. we are here for you.
lol -you know those were my thoughts too...i was like until im approved im going to just kick back and go with the flow. of course extra weight gained is extra to lose but still i did it. there's also a class i have to go to before i can have my surgery, the class is on the 20th, lol. i did not want to do a band lifestyle change class until i knew i was getting the band.
my dr and i did not discuss a goal weight...im glad too because his goal weight for me might not be what i want for myself. someone has in their siggy that their goal weight is not a number but a feeling. after im under 200lbs i'll see what that feel likes. i haven't been there in years.
thanks to all who have responded so far...im sure there will be more posts to come
i know im not cheating but to be told that was like wow thats how you see me...i thought i was trying to get healthy.
there's lots of ppl who have the band and still weigh the same if not more. i know i still have to work and change my eating...its a lifestyle change.
you know i wondering if the overweight people who say these things are a little jealous.....maybe envious is a better word. i know years ago i said i would never have surgery but i think deep down i was not brave enough to do it yet. maybe thats how she and others feel.
thanks for responding kristine
