I actually have been going to have fills done by a doctor outside of Monroe. I was banded in Denver, CO. So I can understand now traveling back to your surgeon for fills. Dr. Zubar is who I see and she is actually at Calhoun Family Medical Clinic in Calhoun, LA. She does fills on Wednesdays. I have seen her twice and she is just great.
I am a cash pay patient (my insurance didn't cover anything with my band) so she charged 250 for fills.
I will be glad to forward you her info if you are interested.

Hi, I am Kerri, I live here in Alexandria also. I was recently banded and are looking for a fill doctor near here. Who does yours? I could get them done for free at my doctor in Mexico, but that is not an option due to cost. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I am going to Dr. Ortiz on April 3rd for Lap Band. I am excited and nervous about the sugery.I was wondering if anyone out there is going around the same time. I would love to meet other people from the US or canada that will be there in the first day's of April. Look forward to hearing from you. -

Thanks for the info. I have done more reserch and I am leaning more towards Dr. Oritz. I have read so much great things about him. He does cost alittle more but it makes me more at ease to know he has so much experiance. Thanks agian.
