Hi! I am five weeks post surgery and get the same pain in my back and upper shoulder. The surgeon tells me that it is normal, and that patients report all types of weird pains. I am also burping-almost involuntariliy) after I eat. It is LOUD and GROSS, but boy do i feel better afterward-making room or something, i guess.
