Mine actually seems to be working very well. I have lost 12 kg and dropped from No 20 to No 14 for clothing. Feel great - hope it continue this way.

Banded yesterday....feel miserable

Me too was banded yesterday and feel awful. Slept quite a lot as they had to give me second anestezia - apperantly couldn't breathe when they tryed to wake me up. Did not eat or drink almost anything ysterday maybe around 100 ml apple juice and 3-4 table spoons cream Soup. Don't have gas as of yet but have dificultie breathing normal. Looking forward to feel better in the next ew days.... -
My doctor only asked me to not eat or drink anything at all 8 hours before the operation. I am almost there - it will be on Wed, 22nd of Oct.

Hi all, I am located in Dubai and I am planning to do the lap band, just was looking for some information as I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis disease and that is where my obesity come from. Does anyone know if it is okay to have the lap band with this disease?
