Feeling like I have no band at all!

Well - I am 5 weeks post-op and 2 weeks until my first fill. At this point I feel like did pre-banding. I am hungry and do not feel any restriction when I eat. This is frustrating after all this work - but I guess I will just be patient and wait until my fill. Anybody have any suggestions or comments??

Greetings Robin - I know you made that post about a month ago, but I just saw it today - and I wnated to let you know that I am in Howard! Hope all is well - I am almost 4 weeks post-op and not sure how much I have lost since my initial post-op 1 week visit. I have my first fill appointment scheduled for Nov 21. Who was your surgeon? Mine was Dr. Kemmerling. Look forward to hearing back!

    One week Post = op!

Ok - had my one week post-op check-up today. Lost 3 pounds since surgery day - and wow, I am getting so tired of liquids. My teeth are beginning to feel a bit neglected at this point! Well - thank God for stranined cream soups and Carnation Instant Breakfast. Next appointment and first fill is scheduled for the Friday before Thanksgiving (nov 21?).

    Banded and ready!

Ok - I was banded this past Monday, October 6th! Although I was aggravated with the insurance approval and waiting period, I am grateful for the time to be able to study and research my options. I feel when I went in and had the surgery that I was really ready - prepared for what was to come. Now I am ready to get back to life as usual and go back to work on Tuesday (after my first post-op visit with the surgeon and the 'back-to-work-approval'). The worst thing post-op?? The gas. But is now subsiding. I am looking forward to my first scale check on Monday. Will post my results!

I will also be at Aurora Bay Care for my surgery on Monday. Getting nervous and excited - tell me one thing - people have been telling me that they are going to fill me full of air before they make the incisions and that it will be very painful afterwards - any truth to this??
