gas-x comes in a strip that melts in ur mouth. u can get it anywhere like a pharmacy or wallmart ect.......

im five weeks post-op and i know how ur feeling....HUNGERY! at first it was every 4 hours n now it is like every 2 to 3 hours that im hungery again! i cant wait for my fill it is in the first week of march. and it cant come fast enough for me! best of luck to u! yoco28

When I was banded 5 weeks ago I really did not have a choice in which band to get because my doc said it all depends on what size will be right for me. so i ended up with the lapband that is a size 11. and 2 of my family members one had it done 2 months before me n the other 4 months before me both got the lapband but a size 14. one has lost 35lbs and the other lost 65lbs. and they both have had fills. i have not had a fill yet and have lost 22lbs. so best of luck to u! and see what ur doctor recomends. yoco28

Congrats! im 5 weeks post-op and when i had that growing and grumbling sounds it was because of the milk(fat free) i was drinking. even though i never had a problem with milk in the past, but for some reson after i was banded i could no longer tolerate it.. so i had to switch to lactaid milk. and it solved all my stomach sounds. u just need to find if it is something that u eat or drink that sets it off. or it could just be the gas still. and for the burping, i burp all the time now after i drink or eat. i hear a lot of banded people do. for me it is a sign that im full. so best of luck to u! yoco28

I had to change my milk to lactaid. I have never had a problem with milk till i was banded! But with the lactaid (fat free) im fine. yoco28

Im almost 5 weeks post-op and I know how u feel! My fill is not till 3/4/09! But u have to stick with it. It is hard to do but when im hungery I try to drink alot and then im full. Atleast till I can eat again. I try to only eat 3x a day and have a protein shake at night. So far I have lost 20lbs. Best of luck to u! yoco28

I had asked the same question to my nutritionest and she said that u have to check the sugar in them. Cause most of them r high in sugar. So be carefull! Best of luck to u! yoco28

WOW!!!Congrats!! u lost all that in 5 months. That is GREAT. Sorry to hear about ur port. I have a friend whos port is on its side. But dont know how it got like that. Best of luck to u. yoco28
