The hardest part is learning how to stay away from those sweets. I still have an issue with it! Why is it that after u eat the sweets u feel so wrong for eating it? I can too get them down with no problem. I do get that pain in the chest if i eat to fast or something is dry. But I need to learn to control myself from the choc n sweets!(HELP).........lol Best of luck to u, Yoco28

I use GNC but have also tried Unjury they both r good. I have also tried wallmart brand its ok too!

My doc. sent me home with this protein shake idea! I use it almost everyday. I like to use vanilla protein with it too.

Thanks for ur info! I guess I will have to stick with the sf fudgesicles and sf choc. pudding too! If u know of any other sugar free products that r any good for that time of the month PLEASE let me know........lol thanx again, yoco28

So I went for my first fill today and it went well. Now I had to be there at 11:45am so I got there at 11:30am and all I saw was like 6 ppl in the waiting room. So they call me back and check my vitals and then they send me back to the waiting room. I sit there for about an hour till they call me and like 15 other ppl to the back.:w00t: We r sent to this room that has shoe covers and a hair net that we must put on. So we r all just sitting there waiting for our turn to be filled. :huh2:Im sorry but it looked like the FAT FARM...lol, I could not stop laughing. :biggrin: It also reminded me of a blog I saw that was about the Dr. Suess "A star on my tummy". It was so like that....lol:biggrinjester: So im like the 6 one to get my fill. It was not bad, it did not hurt. He put in 3cc. So now all I can have is clear liquids till Monday:thumbdown:. yoco28

Hi! So I had my 2nd fill about 2 weeks ago n at first I felt full as soon as i drake or ate something. I also got that feeling as if someone was standing on my chest.....omg it hurts. But now it is starting to lossen up. Time to call the doc for my 3rd fill.....lol So far ive lost about 41lbs. So let me know how all is going for u! Hope the hear from u soon.

In the end it is all up to what u want. I had the same issue but i chose the lapband. They both do the same thing make u lose weight n they both r a tool. So it is just a matter of what works best for u! Best of luck to u!

I think a lot of us get the lapband for the same reson u did, well at least I did. But in the long run it well help us out for the better! As for the wii fit............lol (sorry) My kids have the wii but I need to invest in the Wii fit. My kids tried it n loved it. It might just have to be a gift for us all! Best of luck to u! yoco28

Im sure no matter what weight loss surgery u chose u will have to watch what u eat, with gastric bypass or lapband. It is all up to u to do the work! I have seen some ppl who had the bypass and lose realy fast but also put it right back on too. But as for the lapband u can go n get a fill to help u out again! It all depends on the person. This is my 2nd day after my 2nd fill I have had to eat today: 1 egg scrambled 1 fitness yogert 1 piece of fish 8oz protein shake with 1 teaspoon of fat free peanut butter. 16oz. diet peach drink from lipton. *So far this fill has seems to be working. Im eating much less then I used too! Im now fill to 5cc

i got my first fill about 2 week ago n i got 3cc put in n it did not help! i felt the same(hungery). i go for my 2nd fill on Wed. hope this does the trick!

when i got banded my lil monthly friend had to come 2 days before my surgrey! but all was fine u can get it done still even if its that time of the month.....lol also u can not wear ur bra. cause 1 incision is just below ur boob.........lol i did not wear my bra till i went for my post-op apt. a week later. hope i helped u out some. best of luck to u! yoco28 -

That is crazy me n my husband where just talking about that too! Even if im driving my hands r cold on the stearing wheel....lol n at night im cold too so I had to invest in an electric blanket and it was the best thing that i have ever done! -
im 12 weeks post-op and the pain in the sholder will go away but when u start eating reg. food some food may bring it back. it just started happening to me, any type of food that gives u gas brings it on. and it is the worse pain. i have to walk to get it out from there. best of luck to u! yoco28

My doc said that I just had to switch to decaf. At first it was not the same n so I just stoped all together! But after I was banded I just had to have some so I gave the decaf a try again n it was fine. I had to add some suger free vanilla creamer and like 3 packs of equal to it. And now I drink it everyday. MUST HAVE IT.........lol OH.....I love reading ur blogs, sometimes the pic's u put up r so funny and cute! Best of luck to u! yoco28

Hi! I will let u know how my next fill goes. But that may not be till the end of the month or the beginning of next! My doctor see's us first then we have to come back to see the nutritionest and then we get another apt for our fill. {its a crazy cycle} back n forth for 2 weeks! Who knows u may get ur before me. So keep me posted!
