personally I and only 12 days post op and I am eating mac & cheese (well cooked) mashed potatoes, rice with ranch in it, soups, smoothies, cottage cheese, cream of wheat. I began to get sick of always being hungry and after eating something with substance (rice, cream of wheat, potatoes) I could eat five or six bite and be satisfied until my next meal. My doc says that is a no no but only because it is so important that I not throw up. So I decided I will continue to eat what I am eating and just listen to my stomach no matter how good it is.
