I'm starting to get nervous, too. But I'm also really excited to get on the other side of it.

Woo hoo! I start my pre-op diet on Jan 1st and my surgery date is Jan 30th. What kind of diet does your doctor have you on?

I can see why that would make you nervous, but that's good they want to see you in the office the next day. They should be able to catch any issues you're having right away. I totally get not wanting to wait until March. It's the reason I'm going to Mexico in January instead of jumping through a bunch of hoops and doing six months of dieting and appointments in the hopes insurance might actually approve the surgery. Nope. I've been waiting for most of my life to finally do something for ME that will better my emotional and physical health. I'm not waiting any longer.

That's cool you only have to spend one day in the hospital.
