  1. Hello all, I am more then a year out. I had my surgery in Mexico, where I live. It was not until today that I ever thought to google anything about the Lapband. 4 days ago I began having a problem. I THOUGHT it was my first one until I cam here. Over the last 4 days I have not been able to hold ANYTHING down. Not any food or liquids. I have not had a fill for 6 mo so that is not the problem. I googled and found this site, The more I read the more I fill I am in BIG TROUBLE You all seem to know much more about all of this then me. I had the surgery and went home. I throw up 2-3 times during every meal. Let;s face it, Most of us had the surgery because we have an addiction to food. That addiction did not go away, I am still addicted I am just not able to eat as much. I ALWAYS push the limits and try to eat more then I should so I throw up. After 2-3 times I just give up. MY BIG PROBLEM is I feel like I have missed out on important tips to help me. I read that some of you walk around to stop the feeling. WHAT MAKES ME SCARED IS MANY OF YOU DO NOT THROW UP AT ALL, I THOUGHT WE ALL DID. PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE SEND ME AS MANY TIPS TO LIVING WITH THIS AS POSSIBLE i HAVE BEEN ON MY OWN THROUGH ALL OF THIS AND I AM SICK OF THROWING UP

    Anyone had a PB yet?

I am not sure what PB means. I think it has something to do with throwing up? Anyway. It has been more then a year and i still throw up 2-3 times during every meal. I know that I am trying to get more food down then I should. But i eat and all seems okay and I always do it, I take one bite to much and there I go running for the bath room. When I got my surgery i just did it, No research, nada. i got it done in Mexico (rosarito beach) where I live and they do not make you go through any kind of education. It was not untill today for the firat time I have ever gone to do any research on line. This is beacause for the last 4 days I have not been able to hold anything down , Not even my coffe or Water. Not sure what has gone wrong.
  3. Hi all, I had my surgery sept 2007. I have done well, 69 lbs so far. Yes I have had a problem throwing up the entire time, But that is because I try and eat to much and it comes up. MY BIG PROBLEM NOW...PLEASE HELP!!!! About 4 days ago for some reason I have not been able to hold ANYTHING down. Not even liquid. I take a sip of Water and it comes rushing out. This is the first problem I have had. It has been 4 days and I am tired as heck. I do not want to gain any waight so doing a un fill scares me...I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACKWARDS. Has this happened to anyone else?
  4. Hi, I went threw the same thing. Since I did mine in Mexico I did not realy understand any of the pre op or post op information. BUT one thing I did not understand was my incredible depression after. It was not till about a month later I relized that OMG I have just lost the one thing I have had all of my life, My relationship to food. It was the one thing all of my life that was always there for me, In good time and in Bad, I always had my best friend FOOD and now it was gone. As soon as I relized this the depression was gone. If we have gotten to a point where we have had the surgery then it was way out of controll. No one tells us about the seperation issues we would have with our one great love....FOOD
