I feel fortunate that I haven't had a lot of cravings or desire for anything other than what my doc prescribed. Park Nicollett has a strict dietary guide to follow for the first month. My husband is very supportive and has prepared a lot of his own meals during this crucial healing/adjustment time. That helps a lot. I had crab meat for dinner tonight and it tasted wonderful. It is still hard to know when to stop, but I haven't thrown up once. It is amazing to me that I need to leave a spoonful of tomato soup, because I feel full and the one more spoonful might be too much. My doc said not to weigh everyday, but I find myself on the scale almost every morning. Like most veteran dieters, staying off the scale is foreign to me.
