Hehe, I so am. But for me, it goes way beyond liking to see these guys in uniform. There is something very special about people putting their lives on the line for complete strangers. It's spiritual, almost akin to guardian angels and such. I've always liked and respected them. Are there some bad ones? Sure. I even work with a couple that their own brethren would love to take back behind a shed... But that doesn't make them all bad. I get very angry at people (and I post elsewhere with a dyed-in-the-wool cop hater) who only have contempt for cops (Donna, not pickin' on you, promise!). I wonder what type of world they would choose to live in, one where there is no police force. And I think of how many lost their lives in NY on 9/11 because they did not run, and instead ran INTO these buildings to save others. The same goes for our firefighters as well. I can't say enough good things about our beloved police forces/firefighters/armed forces. You have got to love what you do to do those jobs cuz it sure as hell ain't about the money.

Hell, so would I. Okay, this one's in need of a modification. It'll be a looooong time before I ever make it to a size 6 (if I ever do), so I guess I have time to think of something. :tongue2:

You're very welcome, but don't thank me. I always thank our men and women in blue/brown/black... whatever color. I also go up to servicemen and -women and thank them for what they do for us. I am not sure if they hear that often, or often enough. I think what I said about football was that I am a fan of none, but because I came from Texas, I would likely root the Cowboys. :tongue2:

A HUGE amen, Ceradad. I absolutely love our police forces, our military, and those who keep us safe. If I had my way, y'all would make more and guys who just kick around footballs would not make so much. I've been around cops (and even dated one) for many years. They are average people who do extraordinary jobs which often risk their lives, and it's a shame so many people don't see that. I think unless any of us are paid crap to do a job where you are there to help society while being despised, disrespected, and shot at, you wouldn't understand how they feel.

I can't help but wonder why it is that gas prices have been droping like a rock, yet the airlines, who were SOOO eager to raise their prices to compensate, are not lowering them due to the new prices. :wub:

I too lived in Harris County, and even though there are 4.5 million people, I was getting a summons about every year to year-and-a-half. I was able to bow out when my daughter was young and I was going to school, but by the time I had to go, I got chosen twice -- once on a six-person panel for an assault and battery which only took a couple hours, and the second time for a capital murder trial that took five days.

But honey, if you're having mind-blowing sex, you ARE a sex toy! Mind-blowing sex doesn't just happen. There has to be a real connect for that. Guys are just stoopid and don't know how to say what they feel. :smile2:

PJTP: Okay, I about had a freakin' heart attack not long ago. I just came from my first post-op doctor visit, and everything went very well -- so well, in fact, that they're putting me on mushies a few days early. Anyway, the doc and I went over my procedure (I even got PICS of my insides before, during, and after I was banded!!), and we were talking about slippage and what can cause it, yada yada. Anyway, I'm driving home and getting close to my subdivision, and I lean down to get something out of a compartment under my radio and hear and feel *POP!* Omg, I about died! I'm thinking it's my band, but it didn't feel like my band, omg, was that my band, please tell me that wasn't my band, but if it was my band, wouldn't I have felt something different, but omg, it happened about the place my band is, omg, omg, omg. I get home and I'm feeling around... it was the underwire (which I think is plastic) in my bra. :cursing:

I don't think I can take the thought of, "You want to stick it where, and then you want to stick it WHERE??" I'm still throwing up in my mouth a little over that one...
