Yeah, my in-laws are like that too. We never have really sent them gifts (except for that cross-stitch I did for them one year), but they always sent large checks to hubby and put my name on the card too. Over the last few years, and due to a big needed blow-up between hubby and them on my behalf, I no longer exist. Cards don't include my name, they don't ask about me, nothing. So... since I am the one who does the cards AND was the only one who thanked them for their monetary gifts, they will receive no card from ME. Sonny boy never sends them, so oh well... If I don't exist, then they don't get cards from me. Problem solved.:wink:

I can tend to get compulsive about it, but it's usally first thing in the mornings only. However, the last few days I hadn't weighed at all because I was scared to look because of all the holiday food. Little by little I was enjoying Cookies and candy (since enough food for a small, third-world country has come here), plus the parties and drinking. Finally got on today to see how bad the damage was and I had only gained one pound. Do-able. :smile:

Do you still get gaggy this far into your pregnancy? Mine was forever ago, but I don't remember having issues much past the first trimester. Certain smells would send me to the moon, but other than that I was okay.

Block me if you want, but apparently you have issues with viewpoints that differ from yours. That's your problem, not mine. I have never ever EVER said anything about "white Republicans gracing this country." That is YOUR perception based on your own incorrect, fanatical viewpoint. I want GOOD people running this country, and quite frankly, the Repubs suck as bad as the Dems do. If you had tried as hard paying attention to WHAT I was saying rather than putting your own wharped spin on it, you would have seen that yourself. I also wish you could prove to me how I have put politics into "every g.d. thread." I was involved in the politics thread, yes, and I am in many more threads than this one or the PJTP thread and have not put politics into any of them. I've never disrespected you once, but apparently you cannot show the same maturity. I can disagree with your viewpoint and still appreciate you as an intelligent, well-spoken individual. I guess that's one of the larger differences between us. I don't need to surround myself with people who only think the way I do.

Understandable; however, this thread IS in the debate section, not the lounge. So long as it is in debates, it is likely to have things come up from time to time that ruffle the feathers -- on BOTH sides. I have not once gone onto another board that wasn't meant for debate and gotten into politics or some other hotbed topic. Maybe this thread should be moved if it is only for fluffy feel-good stuff 24/7.
