Does anybody here attend some form of support group, whether a psychiatrist, an overeaters' group, or simply a group of fellow bandsters? It is something I know I want to do as I lose with the band, and wanted to know what's out there and/or how you liked it and how it's worked for you.

I know I was told about it when I met with Sue. I made the one in December, which was right after my surgery, but I missed the one in January because I had to work late that night. It's the first Monday of each month at 6pm at the hospital. I thought it was nice. I would probably enjoy it a lot once I can go for a long time and see the results on people. I LOVE to see that!!

I know it sounds crazy, but maybe you're not eating enough. I don't think you are still in the healing phase right now, so you should be eating somewhat normally. If you are barely eating or NOT eating, you shut down your metabolism, which then makes the body horde your calories. Try upping the amount of food you eat and see if the scale doesn't move. Still eat healthy, obviously, but eat three meals a day, somewhat normal-sized meals.
