Jes was tryin' to get me there, we were SO CLOSE but then I had to go check in, then she waited with my purse while I changed outta my sweats (we did "the walk"), then Tina came, then we were called in! They totally welcomed Jes, did her BP and let her watch my fill and stuff. Hardly anyone showed up so it was COOL! She sure was jonsin for that SF vanilla latte tho!!!

Uhmmmm . . .yes, and yes!! :-) Jes - did you get your latte?? Tina - came home and had a cup of broth for lunch, was going to have a SF decaf soy chai latte for dessert but was too full from the stinking broth!! Guess I'd better stick with the plan and get me some SF jello, 'sigh':tongue_smilie:

OMG Candra, you have not heard my crazy stories?!? OK, so, back then I was eating meat. I got me a Magic Bullet, which is NOT just for State 3! If you could suck it through a straw (which of course I NEVER did - I only used a straw for vodka or rum drinks with umberellas) then it qualifies as Stage 2. SO - I would use canned chicken and make my own homemade cream of chicken with canned chicken, westsoy unsweetened unflavored soy milk, BUTTER (yes butter) and salt & pepper, YUMMO. I also made my now-infamous "Cream of Jimmie Dean" on a day that I was Jonesing REALLY bad for some biscuits and gravy - it was the best thing I ever had!!

When I reach my halloween ticker goal tho, I will be in a 10 like you and THAT willo make me happy :-) Love you skinny girl!! Oh notice I said "WHEN" and not "IF"

Oh and I never did have bandster hell . . . maybe because I stayed away from carbs? The only hell times for me are right before a fill, like, NOW I want to bite someone . . . .

I did not know I had one either, Dr. Baggs fixed it on my pics the stiches for the hernia are only about an inch above my band ! so close. But I can swaller better than ever now :-)

Ugh, sorry Pam! Can you call the office and tell them that you are miserable, this is affecting your mental state, and maybe get on a list to be called if he has any cancellations? I had such good restriction - I honestly was not hungry at all until a dew days ago. Now I am starving all of the time, and I can eat like 4 cups at a time! I have cut out carbs too, but am doing my "gain a bunch of water weight right before you go weigh in" thing anyways, dagnabit! I will be VERY happy to get a fill Thursday! This is the closest I have ever been between the time that I felt I needed one and I get to have one, though - last time Dr. Baggs told me to call and schedule a fill, I had to wait almost a month! Of course I gained weight back during that time . . . . . UGH I am starving right NOW! Good thing it's lunch time! I will miss seeing you guys on Saturday - but don't feel sorry for me, I'll be in beautiful Lake Tahoe with Team Thrive!!!!:bored:

I tested moderate for sleep apnea right before my surgery, < 2 episodes per hour now so I no longer need my CPAP but I keep using it cause I'm addicted to it!! Strap on that mask and go right to sleep

Hey all, just checkin' in . . . . I forgot to stop eating today! Calorie meter is over 1,300 oopsie daisy!! Oh well huh, whatcha gonna do. I can eat too much again! 3 days till fill, just have to hang on a bit longer I reckon. Too tired today, and a headache - at least it didn't get as hot as they predicted today. My one knee is still kinda grindy-feeling when I walk more than a mile at a time, so trying to take it easy on it but still get my miles in preparing for this weekend. Going to bed so I can't eat anymore!! No willpower today, zippo I hope tomorrow's better. Goodnight all!

Oh my goodness band o' buddies, it is impossible to just pop onto this board anymore! It always takes me to the last post I read, and nowadays there's always 5 or more pages of new stuff to read through! But I can just FEEL our support power, ya know? I am SO sore! I know I walk a lot and all, but this morning we did 10 miles straight without stopping, apparently "we" felt that if we could do 10 straight miles at this altitude we can for sure do a 10K (6.2 miles) at 6000 feet next weekend . . . . but I ACHE!! My kneews feel sorta grindy, and I don't like that! Maybe cause I did a little bike riding to, well you know, it was there and it looked like the thing to do at the time :-) Heather I keep meaning to tell you how I get a chuckle "havin my diet coke" every time I pull my pencil out of my purse . . . . I have tried the joke on unbanded friends but it's a no-go for any kinds but us! Thanks for chuckles :-) Donna love the band name! ANd I think you should go hold those babies! That takes someone very special, like YOU! Jes & Candra SO glad you girls are doing great! Isn't it great to not want to eat?? Weird, but great :-) Tina I can't wait either!! I need my Tina fix :-) And I am so happy for those babies they are going to need Tina fix too! Welcome newbies, so happy you have found us!! That's why we stay on pre-op, so new folks can find us and get support :-) we're the lapband rockstars, for sure! I think I'm going to have a little nap, and then DRIVE to the store cause I am so done walking today! Oh I forgot to mention when I got home from the 10 miles I ate the HUGEST salad EVER, seriously like 6 cups . . . fill time!!!

I wish they would start doing fills in the north bay - maybe at the San Rafael center, or better yet Petaluma!! I just don't think that there are enough Kaiser banded patients up here, maybe 10 in Sonoma County unless there's a lot from SSF. I do know 1 other gal banded by Dr. Baggs like 2 years ago but that's it, he's the band guy for Sacto but Santa Rosa Kaiser refers only to SSF now. ANY ways. I'm going to stop typing and go read now . . . .

Good God Tina that is awful - maybe you should be going out on stress leave! Work Comp pays better than unemployment . . . and they are TOTally messing with you, and you are feeling personally responsible for what is going to happen to those kids - I hope you are documenting this, that is too much stress for ANYone to take. No way could you handle that and not have serious stress issues. At least you will have clothes :-) Only 10 miles today, and tomorrow I am taking "off" (which means I will only walk 6 miles in the AM and at noon) it is getting to hot and I need more balance in my life so I'm going out with an olde friend. And I don't think she's going to want to go out hiking with me cause when I say old friend, I mean a friend who is old, 70 yrs so we are going to SIT and GAB (and probably eat) and drink wine! I will have a glass for you Jes :-) OH chapstick girl, that's what helps the dry. Jello cups = 4 oz. eat all you want but sipping water better for you. Also have him pick you up some PowerAde Zero, clear no calorties but electrlytes so good for too dry.

Thanks Kimbo! Stick with us you'll lose everything - sanity first! LOLOLOLO Yeah Nicole he HATES that photo! Even takes it down off the wall and hides it (of COURSE I had to get the 11 x 13 one and frame it, hahahahaha) and my wallet sizes so I can show off in public in front of him!! He managed to destroy those tho :-( still, it is SOOOOO worth it when they are jerk-off teenagers! You gotta have SOMEthing to hold over their heads that they actually care about . . .for this one, it was either 1) attending his high school classes WITH him (the teachers love that, BTW - good threat for the rest of the kids) or 2) that Barney picture!!! Tina I have a bag of 14/16s already packed up for you, will go through the dresses tonight! Anything you don't want can go to our other girls or ro the exchange, except 1 top I need back I'll show you which one. I want to be 177 by this weekend
