Good morning all! I am struggling. Surgery was 10/01 and I have been dealing with morning nausea. It sucks. I can’t really eat or drink anything till 10am ish and the through of protein shakes and yogurt 🤢. Please tell me I am not the only one experiencing this. It’s causing me to NOT hit my goals for water or protein. UGH

I went through 3 jars of pickles during pre-op. lol. My nutritionist said they were a “free food” so I ate all I could tolerate. lol

I’m feeling good. Working from home till I can eat with fewer restrictions. Still a little sore and bruised but over all I feel good.

Omg I can’t believe it’s almost time! I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am CST. I hope I can at least get in a nap. 3:30 comes early!

Surgery is in 4 1/2 days (10/01) and the nerves are real! I know logically that I have done everything they have asked of me, but I still keep thinking I've screwed up. Starting Weight- 350 Current Weight- 325 Still a few days remaining to see what what I can lose on 5 shakes a day for the next 4 days.

I am having bypass surgery on Tuesday, October 1 and this is my main concern. Even with my having lost 10lbs just on the liquid diet. I am starting the get more and more nervous in general. All I can say to both of us is WE'VE GOT THIS! I saw in a previous post that you mentioned an October surgery group. I have looked for one but did not find one. Of course I just joined the forum so I have ZERO clue how to navigate!
