Hi All, I just got banded yesterday, 9/29. It took me 4 months to get all my tests, and insurance approved, but now I'm on the road to a healther life. I am walking around today and don't have any unforseen complaints. My belly is sore, of course, but that is to be expected. The liquid diet is going well since I found a protein drink that I really like. I started it about a week before my surgery. My Doctor and his staff have been great. There are plenty of support groups to help keep me on track.
