  1. Well since surgery on Oct 8th, about 67 pounds! This week was tough though! lol i didnt eat much but i had a few drinks so I lost about 2 pounds in the last 7 days but thats a good thing :) Merry Christmas!

  2. On surgery day, I had a BMI of 43. Now about 10 weeks post op I have a BMI of 32.9 :tongue_smilie:

    Lone star!! Wow you a doing great!!!!! That sure is a lot of inches. I actually lost a lot of inches off my belly but it has slowed down A LOT.

    Yeii I am so glad people are checking in!!! Alright so I am down 62 pounds I am really happy about the weight loss. I love my band I cant believe I am 229. I reached my first goal!!! My second goal is to get to onerderland all I need is a 199 on the scale!!! I hope soon!! One thing I notices is that now I am getting a lot of attention from men. Sucks that people are sooo superficial they would have never spoken to me 62 pounds ago! How do I know? because those are the same idiots I walked by last summer! In addition, those men are also some of my closest friends, interestingly interesting! sorry had to vent! Good luck everyone!!!!!

    December Exercise Challenge

    Ok I'm in. Yesterday I did one hour on the elleptical machine on 5 a incline level. One hour of free weights and twenty mins on the treadmil. Today I did the same and have done the same for the last two weeks :cursing: sorry for the typos I am writing via phone.

    I hsd surgery on October 8th 2008 and all my weight loss has been post op. I was not on a pre op diet and def had a few margaritas a few days before surgery hehe! I eat a lot of sea food , yogurt , chicken salad and not too much carbs. If I do it comes from my fruits n veggies. I also have protein shakes. I would say my diet includes a lot of proteins and veggies :cursing: especially my string beans yummy! I am also tall 5'9 so my weight has distributed all over my target area is my belly. Keep up the good work everyone!

    Ooh yea I know the feeling of loose clothing and I hate it. I am about two pounds away til I hit the 60 pounds loss mark so you know my clothes fit like bags. Well I have been wearing leggins and a few cool dresses I bought at target. I've been getting away with dresses and leggins something I thought I would never ever wear. I am also in between sizes at gap a 14 fits a lil loose but a 12 will show off a roll lol. I am just gonna wait until february to buy some cheap jeans and stick to my million leggins and cute tops.karen I hope your feeling better! What is going on to my october bandsters. Post post! Is good to be supportive!!! Some one sent me a message asking how I lost so much weight so quickly. Well I am eating what is asked of me/suggested and I go to the gym everyday for two to three hours. I take a day off and do moderate exercises on my nintendo wii. I know that if I didn't work out I'd probably wouldn't have lost so much. I am also happy to admit that twice a week I have myself a SMALL treat. Sometimes a mini snickers bar or about ten pringles. No juice but a lot of water.

    Hi everyone, Ok so I am obsessed with the gym. I went seven days straight and in those days I lost about seven pounds. Today I decided to take a day off and feel a little guilty but I know I need to rest my body. So now I am down 52 pounds since surgery on 10/08/08 I am soo happy to be near my first goal of 230 :crying: Thank you everyone for all your support!

    Anne your going to be one hot young grandma!!!! SnT: I am now addicted to the gym/jogging which is why I think I am having dramatic results as far as shedding the pounds goes. I struggle while jogging because of my anemia but I am pushing myself to success. went to my one month post up(although am almost 6 weeks post up lol), my dietician and doctor say I am doing great and advice me to stick to water and diet snapples. I thought it was ok to drink 100 percent juice (about 4 oz) well she said since I am drinking 3 liters of water its ok but try not to do it. Good bye oj At least she approves my ice coffee with skim milk thats all I care for!

    Hi everyone! Miss you all I am doing really great. My weight loss has slow down a bit but I am still losing 2 to 3 pounds a week which is great. In addition, the inches are def going down :tongue: Today I went joggin for an hour and felt good. I am so thankful for my band and for you all tomorrow is my 4th week post up! So ill see what the doc wants me to do lol.

    Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing very well!!!! I have to admit that my only problem is forgetting to take my vitamins :thumbup: Ive been so busy that sometimes I completely forget. I will begin taking them again, starting NOW!:laugh: I am almost down 50 lbs post-op I really did not expect such fast weight loss, but I am really happy about it.

    Im at the gym, use my Wii Fit and since I am in the city, I walk everywhere and take the stairs. I love it!

    I made a home made pizza. I toasted half of a whole wheat fajita, fat free mozarella cheese and some grilled cut up Shrimps yumm sooo goood.

    Hmm that's weird. I had and now improving my chronic anemia. My surgery wasn't cancalled. My blood was at about 17.

    On the WiiFit the Aerobics is the best!!! If you do it at least 45 mins a day, you will feel it. I feel it in my legs all the time!

    Thank you Penny and Julie:thumbup:! Well when I hit the gym I mostly use the treadmill and I do step aerobics. I take the stairs everywhere I go. Sometimes will walk up to the 6th floor, down again and back up as an exercise. I also use weights but only to tone my arms. I want to work on the abs but I dont think that is a good idea yet. Probably work on that in January. Everyone sheds the pounds off at a different rate so yes Penny you can rub up against me!! lol. My aunt had gastric bypass a few years ago so she is teaching me all she knows and it has been very helpful. I cant wait to hit my first goal :rolleyes2:

    Got my first fill and it feels good lol! I am now down 42 lbs. Yeii. I have been following my diet and eating proteins like a maniac and living in the gym(work out 3 times a week for an hour then the rest of the days I walk for 30 to 45 minutes). I notice when I hit the gym and eat my proteins the weight goes down. I hope you are all doing well!!!!

    To weigh or not to wiegh?

    I agree. I weight myself everyday but I am going to stop doing that!! Its dissapointing. I am just going to weight myself at my docs office!
