    May sleevers results so far!

I haven't checked in for some time..ll. I am happy with my progress although it has slowed significantly,,,, Starting weight was 280,,, Pre-surgery was 266 and I am currently at 181... About 30 from where I want to be.... I haven't exercised very intensely up to now so I'm thinking that is what I'll have to do. Been at this weight for about6 weeks and need a boost!
  5. Oh supermario... I was the same... About 3 days before I actually had a melt down and was sure I could drink boost for months and lose the weight... But reality struck and I realized that I was being given a wonderful opportunity that many are still waiting for so I jumped in ... And no looking back best decision I ever made... I am almost 2 weeks post up and weighed in this morning....33 lbs gone since starting my 2 week preop diet.... It's crazy... That's 20% of my weight I need to lose gone in less then a month.... I'm sure the rest I'm going to have to up my game to get off but it is a great feeling ..... If you have struggled with weight and want a 2nd chance, go for it!!!
  6. I'm on day 12 and can't tummy sleep yet..... I have gotten onto my side but still major discomfort....

    Dr. Beausoleil (Moncton N.B.)

I tried TLBC. i was very disappointed as they were worried that the medicare allotment was not to the specs of what the surgeon wanted for pay.... which are the host province standards... blah blah blah... they all gave me the run around.

I have been approved by medicare for the surgury already as i broke my neck in an accident back a year ago and am suffering from major arthritis that is setting in my back and shoulder.... he feels that weightloss will help with my rehabilitation and eleviate some of the strain on my injured areas. so, covered I am for the lapband... just waiting out... but not so happy as we thought out of province would happen sooner but medicare cant find someone that will do it and after my own search have ended up with nothing... besides 2 cancelled appointments.... BAH.... :frown:

    Dr. Beausoleil (Moncton N.B.)

Hello, I have gotten my approval for surgery but i was approved for out of province care because of the wait times. I have had this approval since september but no doctor across canada is willing to do it for me as they dont think NB medicare pays enough. Does anyone know the wait times currently for Dr. Beausoliel and Dr. Savoie??? I am going to have to get in contact with them. I have the referral from my doctor just thought it would be faster to go the other way but it didn't work out for me. I need some advice and help. I am desperate for my banding. Im 30 and 250 and 5'4. I am soooo tired... and i just want to get my new life started!!! I have my opti-fast and am good to go but need to get an appointment here.... Had 2 dates set so far in ontario and surgeons cancelled out due to amount of medicare payment... which is the standard for the host province so it is within there provinces guidelines... AHHHHHHH.... :frown:
