I add date paste and cocoa powder. It is a very special, delicious sweet savory. You can also add red lentils or pureed white beans if you want to increase the protein while keeping it soft and vegetarian

@BeanitoDiegoI actually like Daiya but I agree the shreds aren't great. I actually buy the slices, THEN use them as shreds because they legit taste different and have a better texture 😆 @ripburn Wonderful is wonderful ☺️ -
Just a friendly reminder to make sure to supplement with it if you aren't getting it through diet (eg low salt). Without it, your thyroid can really slow, which obviously is no good

Oh, yikes, Lynda! That sounds rough. I had a hiatial hernia after a Six Flags trip gone wrong (unrelated to surgery)...Anyway, what you are describing reminds me of my experience, though I convinced the doctor and they operated successfully. I wonder if you can get a CT while it is "out" or something similar? -

I love the lentil soup idea! Lentils are very underrated. I also found you can make sweeter lentils with datepaste, milk of choice and/or protein powder, and cocoa or pumpkin pie spice and it is a higher protein, lower carb version of oatmeal that is soft food stage friendly too! 😃
