  1. Happy 29th Birthday Madaea!

  2. Hi Crispaholic, Totally agree with u - vhard to eat the healthy stuff. If I'm in the humour I'll blend the dinners, or make smoothies, but its soooo time consuming. Biscuits go down so easy but meat just sits there- unless blended with some sort of sauce. Having the band isn't easy- but I'm still glad I have it. Also went through a period of not 'listening to my band' and just overeating and getting sick too much....resulted in heart burn at 1st and now I have GERD. Wish people were told these things in their consults. On a happier note I'm nearly 7 stone lighter now with the band from living on Soup, mash and boiled eggs! Don't lose hope :0)

    Hi from Ireland!

Thanks Kermit. That has given me some inspiration. I eat sloppy foods a lot and am then surprised at how much I can eat. Good onya for loosing so much, keep it up. My band started working in Nov 2008 after a fill with Dr de Brun. I was banded in Oct 07 with ACS. I've lost about 5 stone altogether and kept it off for a good 6 months now. Gone from a size 22 to 14. I need to knuckle down and start losin some weight. I eat a lot of sweets. If I cut out sweets and slop the pounds'll fall off. :wink2:

    Hi from Ireland!

Hello everyone, This is my 1st post here. I was banded by acs in October 2007. Had one fill ever. So mad with acs. Not sure if I want this stupid band out or get a fill to see if it'll work. I came on the cite to find out how people felt about acs and if anyone did anything, or do we have any rights? lolly*
