  1. Happy 39th Birthday raf sou!

  2. Happy 38th Birthday raf sou!

  3. My case is a little bit different. I do have insurance, Blue Cross Personal Choice. Probably they would pay for my surgery but when i talked to Barix Clinics they said that the process (Dr. appointment, insurance approval and surgery) would take btween 3-4 months . Because i didn't want to wait 4 months for the surgery i decided to get the shortest route and have surgery in Mexico. Now comes the question, will Blue Cross pay for my follow up treatment like fills and Dr. appointments ??? :)
  4. Is it more expensive to do the fills with FLORO ?
  5. "The fill was under floro so she got the exact amout of restriction for me." What did you mean by saying that MGDAVIS ? Thanks.
  6. I read this on the board, is this really possible ???:grouphug: :huggie:   "However, according to my surgeon, while it's not likely, he supposes a severe sneeze or coughing spell might be able to cause a slip. He didn't say it "would cause a slip" just that we should always be a little more cautious of strenous, traumatic movement."
  7. Hi guys, how many weeks after surgery you guys did get the first fill ? i would like to see what people says about that because i was banded on april 24th and i am very excited about my first fill as i have zero restriction. Thank you all.:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  8. I am not taking 4 pounds of food a day, 2 of the meals are only one SlimFast drink. 1 pound or less it's only on the lunch and on dinner it's about 2/3 of a pound of food.
  9. 4 OZ meal it's about 112 grams, that seems a little bit unrealistic for me. If people start weighting their food on a scale, they will see that.
  10. Hi everyone, i was banded on april 24th and i am very curious with something. I think that i didn't have any kind of esophagus swelling very common after surgery and the healing process is 100%. I am feeling very, very good. Right know i am making about 4 meals per day, at lunch and dinner i am being able to eat around 1 pound or a little bit less of soft food feeling full after but feeling ok. Is "one pound" of soft food normal for some people before the first fill or i am definitively eating too much ? Thanks a lot, any comment will be truly appreciated. BTW, i am a man 6.4" tall and large bones. :)
  11. Hi everyone, does anyone know how many weeks after surgery i will have to wait before having any non-carbonated alcoholic beverage ???
  12. April 24th and that was a good experience.:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  13. Hi everyone, i got banded in Mexico by Dr. Huacuz and now i am looking for a place to do fills around Philadelphia. Thanks a lot.
  14. I will be banded on april 24th with Dr. Huacuz.:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  15. Hi everyone, i am going to be banded in Mexico on april 24th and i am looking for a place to do my refills once i don't want to be traveling back to Mexico every time i need a refill. Do you guys know any place that will accept Mexico pacients. Thank you very much.
