About Me

I'm Andrea.  I just turned 59 (I can't believe I'm that old) and I had  gastric bypass August 12, 2024.  My surgeon was Dr. Sebesta at Multicare Center for Weight Loss.  My #1 reason for having bariatric surgery is so that I can do what I want to do, as much as I want to do.  I'm sick of being out of breath, sweaty, and wiped out after doing very little.  I'm going to retire in the next decade or so, and dammit I want to be able to do all the traveling, sightseeing, hobbies, and everything else I want to do!  Other big reasons are high blood pressure, diabetes, and sleep apnea.  (Let's not even mention how mad my knees are becoming at carrying around all this weight.)

Biggest fear:  losing weight and then just gaining it all back like every other time I've tried to lose weight.
