How do you handle emotional eating?

I also chew sugarless gum, and walk away the stress.

    Protein Bars

I love PayDay Pro bars, they taste like the real thing. Tons of protein, priced right .99 to 1.59. Very filling, I'll advise only eating 25% the first time, then work yourself up to 50%. The first time I had one, it was like eating candy, I over ate & you know the rest.

    Am I really full?

I generally eat a small meal every 4-5 hours. The noise your tummy doesn't mean you are hungry. My tummy makes noises all of the time. By timing my meals I am asureed not to wait until I am absolutely starving and willing to eat anything I see.

    Can ANYONE eat pasta post-banding???

I eat whole grain Pasta, in small portions. I've have several foods, I can't tolerate such as bread, hamburger patties, steak, potatoes of any kind. But hey, those are the things that lead to me weighing almost 300 lbs. Good bye and good riddens. Kim

    Anyone Banded Since 2003?

I have been Banded since July 2003. I have learned so much about myself, and the rules of Banding. I went from 275 lbs to 175lbs. I have been able to maintain, due to my Dr. finally finding my fill sweet spot. Yes, I've experienced, some mild complications, but nothing to make me want to remove my band or make me sorry I had it done. I had my port replaced to a low profile one. I has also had a a tubing breakage which will be replaced within 2 days. But I am still in love with my BAND:wink2: and the wonderful staff at UTSW & Dr. Mark Watson.
