Hello, I was banded 3-17-09 by Dr. Adam Smith, same office as Dr. Ferrera, have my first fill 4-13-09, no complications so far or issues and donot anticipate any! I am curious about the progression of your weight loss, I lost 14lbs on pre-op diet and have only lost maybe 5lbs since surgery, my first fill is in 2 days, and I have been starving? Do both these things seem normal from what you remember? Any way I am amazed at that much weight loss in short amount of time, hope for you to have continued success, which you no doubt will reach you goal in no time! God bless! Fixin2notbfat (Nancy)

going well... still vomiting a bit here and there but still losing weight. down 72 and haven't had a real "weigh in" since the first part of Feb.

after a fill I do liquid for that day, then mushy for a day maybe two then back to solids. my doctor said the longer you stay on soft foods the harder it will be to get back on solids. he basically said by the 4th day his patients should be eating. remember mushy foods go thru the band easier and therefore you can eat a lot more of them which can cause weight gain. p.s. this was a good poll! -

I had a tummy tuck, except the incision goes all the way around to get the skin on my back. I also had an inner thigh lift. I posted pix on my PS thread. It is called Renewedhope is headed for the flatlands. So far I am doing well and am very happy with the results. HOpe things are going well for you!!

I asked my doctor were everything was located and he said that the "pouch" is on the left side (where the underwire would sit on a bra). The port is further down just left of center and the band itself is right of center. I was hoping you would describe the pain I have. After eating, within an hour the area around my port is protruding, which is weird. Gotta ask Dr. F about that when I go back. Hope you get your issue worked out and best of luck to you!!!

Hey! Things are good here. I had PS on the 24th. I am not so patiently recovering. I can't believe the difference in my body. This petite frame and trim body is really mine. Very wild!! I can't wait to get rid of the swelling and compression garments to see what i really am going to look like. This seems like a fairytale
