:wink2: I got my lapband surgery in Oct 2008. My last tightening was in April. Ever since then Its been hard to take a deep breath. I have to try a few times to get a good one in. This happens off and on. 3 times its gotten to the point that my arms go numb and my hands tingle. i know that with this surgery your breathing isnt going to be the same espically since te band is right under your diaphram. Ive gone to see several doctors & hospitals. My overall health is fine. I dont know if the breathing/ fainting problem is being caused by somethng getting stuck in my band, drinking wine or what? people keep telling me its anexity but I never ever had it before the tightening. I need tightenings to loose the weight. Has anyone else felt this way? Oh and I never had sleep apnea in my life and ever since the surgery, now I do!

My DOC says its normal to have a harder time breathing. Its just anexity. Im not getting a straight answer from anyone. Im just curious if anyone has fainted like that or felt anything like I have.

I just met him saturday & because of how unprofessional he was and how getto the place seemed and how the employees were acting, made me really want to look elsewhere! He completely yawned during the consolitation and it really worried me that he might fall asleep during surgery! Did you end up going through him? because of financing I might have too now!
