Today 07-20-06 25 minutes on treadmill at 3.0-3.5 seated dip 40 at 80#'s verticle chest 60 at 35#'s rear delt pec fly 60 at 35#'s abs 40 at 95#'s rotary calf 50 at 90#'s

Yesterday, 25 minutes on treadmill at 3.0- 4.0. Some weight machines. Total time in gym, 45 minutes.

Just curious... I talked with my Dr. today and they said I have a 9.75mm band. Does anyone else have this? He said its the smallest band that they work with. Just wondering, seems big to me when I say it...LOL! Thanks everyone! This is all so new to me! :phanvan

Went bowling for 2 hours with the kids...guess this counts as ARM training??????????? LOL!

Went to the water park today for 4 hours... climbing up all the stairs to get to the slide...OMG!!! I am counting this as exercise! Kentucky sounds like fun to me... might have to think about that! Thanks GreatDame!

Today I cut the grass, approx. 1 hour and then cleaned the pool, I was dripping with sweat, so I think this should count as exercise... LOL!

My WOW moment was when I went to the gym and got on the treadmill and starting walking as usual and then thought... hmmm... I wonder if I can jog, OMG!!! I could, I was smiling, It was unbelievable to me. I have always wanted to jog and now I can. Just had to share that with y'all. -
Lisa, I eat it plain or with the sugar free jelly, Walmart has their brand and it is good. I swear some people I know think I am addicted to it... LOL! Make me feel like I am actually eating something, does that make sense? A smidgen...LOL... is a smidgen, thats the way I look at it! Have a good day!

Hello everyone. I am scheduled to have my first fill this Wednesday at 9:00am. I am so nervous.... I can not even begin to tell you. I have a couple of questions... Should I not eat or drink anything before I go? Is the needle big that they use to do the fill? I am terrified if needles... Thanks in advance for anyones comments. :phanvan

Lisa, I bet you have lost more too. I am going to try and do the liquids thru Sunday. TRY being the key word!!! LOL! I eat alot of cottage cheese, well not alot, but I have it for alot of my meals and I swear it keeps me full longer. Keep in touch. Let me know if you loose anymore in the morning. I do the same thing in the mornings, run downstairs, go to the bathroom, strip off my clothes and then go weigh! LOL!

25 Minutes on the treadmill at 3.0 to 4.0. Went to my support group meeting tonight so I was running late and out of time. Theres always tomorrow!

Lisa, I don't know why he said liquids for a week, but I lost 2 more pounds yesterday. So I am down 32#'s. He said it gives your stomach time to adjust around the new fill...??? I don't feel hungry, had coffe this morning and don't really want anything else. He wanted to see me in 4 to 6 weeks, so I just scheduled for another fill and if he thinks I need it I will get it, if not I will come back when I need one. If you have any other questions send me an email, I will be happy to respond! Have a good day.

OMG!!!I went in and was out in 25 minutes. I closed my eyes and he numbed it and then before I knew it he said OK, I am done. I was in shock... I was totally expecting something more. I would do it again in a heart beat. I have my next fill scheduled for August 17th and I can't wait. I had to drink a bottle of water before I could leave and he told me to do liquids for 1 week! So to anyone not had a fill yet... its a breeze!

20 minutes total on treadmill, jogged at 4.0 for 8 minutes and walked at 3.0 for 12 minutes. Did 40 of the arm press things at 95#'s.

Exersise today: Went to my fathers house, he lives 1 block from the beach in Mississippi, right where Katrina hit. We have finished his house inside and out, he had 6 foot of water inside. Today we cleaned his yard and landscaped, you would not believe how much debris was there from the water. Anyway, 4 hours of this and I lost 2#'s!!! I was so excited and made me feel good doing it and helping my father. To give you some idea of how bad it was he had a 27' boat wash up into his back yard. It was unbelievable. Might go to the gym tonight... MIGHT!

Walked 10 minutes at 3.0 and jogged for 10 minutes at 3.8. 40 arm exercises, not sure what you call the machine, you sit and push down with your arms....yeah that one! LOL!

Does anyone know if beans are ok to have. I had refried beans tonight, maybe a 1/4 cup and my husband freaked out saying it was carbs... HELP ME... I know they are carbs, but they are protien too.... so how do I know if its ok. And what about bean juice, like when you cook beans, red beans or lima beans and the broth, or juice from them, it is ok to drink this? I had my surgery last Wednesday the 31st, and I have lost 20#'s. Not drinking the protien drinks, I am drinking skim milk with the no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast. 9 grams of protien in 1 cup of milk and 5 grams in the instant breakfast stuff. I drink about 4 cups a day... is this ok?? Thank y'all for all your help! :help:
