Do you have Netflix apparently you can find some exercise routines on there although I haven’t yet looked haha. Also even just YouTube you can find free workout videos. Put some music on and dance like no one is watching and all from the safety of your own living room. I’ve got an app called active arcade on my iPad which is free you kind of set up the iPad like a tv and then bounce around in front of it trying to hit things. I haven’t used it much but it’s there lol also those mini tramps are good fun although I recently gifted the one I brought to my mum -

I had a similiar but different issue in the fact that i got loan from bank to cover the out of pocket - it was a secured loan against my car and the car insurance was under the bank's provider but the left hand couldnt talk to the right hand and the document they kept supplying me would go through - eventually someone sent me the policy document and that was accepted but i was literally ripping my head off ...with annoyance. Anyway I'm 3 months post surgery tomorrow and I'm finally happy with how I'm tracking.... sw was 118.6 now 96.4 so heading the right direction. I want to get into the 80's by my 6 month appointment in August -

Have you tried layering your clothes, get good thermal undergarments to wear under your clothes and always try and make sure that your shirt tucked in at back to stop cold seeping in, probably not as easy in business attire…..you can also get some of those fingerless gloves that will keep your fingers free for typing . I often carry those hot pocket things that you can get in camping stores that can warm up your hands too. im a cold freak and have always felt the cold so probably only going to get worse for me -

I'm sorry you're struggling today. Hopefully you can find happiness in something. Can you walk in shopping centres to get out off the crappy weather. Something to look forward too soon enough for us, when Winter kicks in here. -

Wow your life is so full on, and here i am struggling to go to work each day haha. I've got my 3 months post surgery coming up and i really hope my surgeon will be happy with my progress. Starting weight was 118.6kg way back in Oct on day of surgery was 111.9 kg and now sitting at 96.1 kg I've got to keep reminding myself that I've kept off 20kg since starting and that's a huge achievement for me but still want my surgeon to be happy. I've got a leg infection again at the moment so it has slowed down my walking routine (which annoys me) back to the doc this morning before work - i Just finished 2nd round of antibiotics - the pain feels like I've walked into a tow bar at shin level but constantly oh and i kind of high jump into bed because i can't put any weight on the knee. I suppose i should be grateful I've got a great gp that has already sent me scans to rule out blood clots. Other than that working on making better choices on protein my next dietician appointment is at the end of May and she says we will talk about Macros so I'm looking forward to that. My hubby went to see my surgeon as he is 233kg and surgeon wants him to get down to 180kg before surgery. Has advised him to go on weight loss medication (our GP gave him a scrip for Ozempic to begin with which is 1 needle a week) and he is off to see my dietician mid June so I'm happy with that. The dietician associated with his other surgeon told him just to eat veggies and 1 meal a day of 300 calories, even i had a protein allowance in my pre diet. I went for a short walk/hobble at a Lake near our work yesterday and i must of brushed under a tree with ants on it. Got back to work and stripped off clothes picking ants out of everywhere spent next few hours whilst driving bus, picking another Ant out under my clothing the little buggers. Fortunately no bites but i literally had ants in my pants. I'm on my 4th food tracking app this one i seem to like so hopefully I'll stay with it haha Anyway have a great day everyone. -

Im in a stall too 99.7kg so annoying. I must confess i had a unhealthy relationship with my scales and the non movement does my head in. Now i only weigh myself on Wednesday so if its good news I'm happy and if not good news (like my current stall) then i tell myself theres always next week. -

I'm always cold too. I was cold before surgery and now it feels worse. Also i have a slow healing ulcer in my leg, which is going on three years everytime i get close to it healing somehow i manage to rip the dressing off it. Don't know if it's the extra walking I've been doing that has made it flare up again. On friday i had a fever and literally could not warm up (until i was too hot) that's gone now. Just called in sick for work to get some antibiotics for this leg. (Its Winter over here in Australia) -

Most days are ok providing I’m willing to prepare with protein ‘enriched’ products before going to work - I hate having to force in 20gm s of protein before bed.. I’m on soft food stage but I don’t think I’m doing this as well as I can still relying on protein powders and pre packaged drinks instead of sourcing it from food so I guess I’m still on that steep learning curve haha. basically currently I’m a non cook ( a great pre-heater though) but bestie made me all these nutritious home made soups that got me through up until now - I’ve still some in the freezer but I just can’t look at them the same at the moment ( kind of like Optifast…. I’ve reached THAT point. im reading this really cool book which I got from eBay called Ultimate Gastric Sleeve Success which is where I found out about this forum ( lists website address in book) by Dr Duc c Vuong which has all these activities to do - so now I’ve got to decided if I can learn to cook 👩🍳 haha that’s why I married my husband lol -

I feel your pain about the pool our local was close for two long years as it was rebuilt - where I live the gym I’m a part of is part of the council group ‘city of greater Geelong’ so membership is for all centres - they are all within 25 to 30 mins away and I do classes as two of the other centres regularly (splashdown and leisurelink) but nothing quiet like having one 5 mins from home 😀 as a bonus the newly opened centre which opened 2 days before I had surgery has a warm water pool (25mt) which is only for 16 years and over and separate area from the main pool. I told my surgeon at the 2 week mark I had returned to aqua classes…. He was pleased fortunately but told me to take it easy lol just waiting for full clearance for Body Pump class haha -

Most days I’m ok - still can’t tolerate eggs 🥲 and I love eggs. Currently at the I’m too scared to try again stage… I have gotten better at Water intake 1.5 to 2 litres on average a day now (except yesterday don’t know what happened there I think I just forgot to drink) sometimes I get pain when I try that one more bite (I haven’t learnt to listen to the full cues yet) im back on coffee YaY! - one every couple of days with tasteless Protein Powder ( it’s my go to treat) I need to walk more - but back in the pool -
